What can we try for free?

Six questions and a practice report

Choose school grade and subject in the free Florida FAST practice check. After submitting, review answers, explanations, and the three sampled skills. Your answers stay in this browser session; the unsaved server check expires after 48 hours.

A quick, four-question preview

Try the Grade 4 math preview to see hints and explanations in action. These four fixed questions are separate from the six-question check and do not affect a child's progress.

A separate 30-day trial

Want to save work and return to more practice? Create a parent account for the free trial. It lasts up to 30 days, ending no later than June 15, 2027. No card or automatic charge. Continuing after the trial requires a paid plan; see current pricing.

Free FAST practice questions by grade

These guides include a worked example and a route into the free check. Choose reading for grades 3–10 or FAST Math for grades 3–8.

Use the free report to choose one next step

  1. Let your child answer before looking at explanations.
  2. Review one missed question together. Ask what made it tricky.
  3. Choose that skill for another short session with fresh questions.

The check samples three skills. It is not a full free FAST practice test or an official score estimate, and it cannot establish mastery or a passing result. For more guidance, visit Florida FAST help for parents.

Practice between PM1, PM2 and PM3

Looking for FAST PM2 practice or a PM3 review? Start with the subject and skills your child's teacher recommends. Keep practice manageable and use new questions to revisit a skill on another day.

If an early school report is worrying you, read our Level 1 or 2 on PM1: parent plan before PM2. For a longer activity, see how our FAST-style practice assessments work.

Questions about free FAST prep

Can I try Florida FAST prep for free without signing up?

Yes. The six-question free check needs no account, email, child name, or payment card. Choose a grade and subject, answer the questions, and see a small practice report with explanations and next steps.

Is this a full free Florida FAST practice test?

The free check is a six-question sample of three skills, not a full-length test. The separate homepage preview has four fixed Grade 4 math questions. Both use original practice questions, not official or released FAST test items.

What is the difference between the free check and the free trial?

The free check works without an account. The trial requires a parent account and provides up to 30 days of practice and parent reports, ending no later than June 15, 2027. No card is required, and the trial never charges automatically. Continuing afterward requires a separate paid purchase.

Does the free report predict a FAST score?

No. Six questions show only a small sample of completed work. The report suggests skills to revisit and includes answer explanations. It cannot predict an official FAST score, certify readiness, or guarantee a passing result.

Start with six questions.

No account, email, or card. Just a small sample and a useful next step.
