FREE PRACTICE READINESS CHECK

Find a useful place to start.

A short sample of three skills. Original practice, not an official FAST assessment, diagnosis, or prediction of a passing score. Independent educator validation of the full bank remains in progress.

No card, child name, or email needed to see the report. Choose a grade and subject. Your answers stay in this browser session and the unsaved server check expires after 48 hours.

Your three-step test routine

Give each question your best thinking. A difficult question is a chance to show what you know, and one mistake does not decide your result.

  1. Read for the task. Notice what the question asks and whether you must select more than one answer.
  2. Work it out. Use scratch paper, a diagram, or evidence from the passage. Ask yourself why your answer fits.
  3. Check before moving on. Eliminate unsupported choices. If you are unsure, give your best reasoned answer and mark it for review.
How Florida’s adaptive tests work

FAST Math adapts question by question. Reading adapts between passage sets. Earlier FAST results can influence starting difficulty, but they do not cap your later achievement level. Algebra 1 and Geometry EOCs do not carry difficulty forward from earlier attempts in the same way.

Give your best effort in PM1, PM2, and PM3. Do not try to guess your score from how hard a question feels. Our practice adapts using provisional difficulty estimates; it does not reproduce the state’s adaptive algorithm or scoring.
